Tours can be arranged for one person or large groups.    You will be accompanied by a local professional tour guide who has completed the professional tour guide training and received a government issued certificate allowing them to work as a tour guide.  Our hand picked tour guides have a vast  knowledge of the traditions and history of Mali and are sensitive to the tourists needs.  Respected in the community, they will introduce you to the local community and the specialty of the particular area.  They can present your tour in both English or French.  Are you a hiker and enjoy being in the outdoors?  Hiking tours of Dogon Country are highly recommended.  You can hike Dogon Country for as many days as you would like, sleeping and eating in the villages during your journey.   The nature lover/outdoorsman will be thrilled with visiting the Sahara desert around Timbouctou or taking a river boat up the Niger River.  Not quite into that much hiking or outdoors?   4X4's are available to take you to your destinations or public transportation can be arranged.  Many options are available when arranging your lodging.  There are modern hotels with air conditioning or more intimate bed and breakfasts to chose from.    An all in inclusive package can be designed where we will coordinate your meals, lodging, and transportation and your tour guide will be responsible for payment.  Want a little more flexibility?  We can design a package where you can be responsible for the coordination and payments; or perhaps you want to coordinate your lodging but not your meals, then that can be arranged as well.   This is your vacation and we are here to provide you a custom created tour according to your needs and desires.
